GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN...& NOT HAVE TO SUFFER CANCELLED FLIGHTS!

Eighties pop icon Cyndi Lauper took matters into her own hands when she found herself surrounded by a group of angry passengers stranded at an airport by singing to them. Lauper, 57, was waiting for a flight when tempers started to flare over delays and cancellations at the Buenos Aires Airport on Friday. Dressed in a black headscarf and sunglasses, the quick-witted star grabbed an airport microphone and treated the crowd to her hit song, Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Some passengers even started to join in and Lauper, who was leaving the country after performing there as part of her worldwide tour, later wrote about the giant sing-along on her Twitter page. 'Ok, so chow Argentina. At airport … So many delays,' she wrote. 'Wound up being announced, wound up singing two songs for airport. A first for me. Crazy day.' The singer performed a blues tribute at the Grammy Awards last month along with folk star Maria Muldaur and R&B act Betty White.
