CORKS GOT TALENT HEAT 2 MAHON


Last night was the 2nd Heat of Corks Got Talent and what a night. The heat was held at the Red Cove inn Mahon and the event was a complete sell out. Acts played to a fun filled audience that were cheering and dancing for the night with Corks Got Talents MC Dave Mac of Red fm. The evenings contestants included a mixture of singers, groups, musicians and an acting sketch, all which were hoping to be picked for the Semi Final. The Judges Shay Spain, Martin O’Brien & Niamh Hegarty, were not shy in commenting on the performances. The acts that have made it through to the Semi Final in the Commons Inn on Saturday the 20th of February are Lorraine Wade from Douglas who sang black velvet, Laura Taylor from Blackrock singing Angle, Anna Buckley from Glasheen performing Alone, Andrew McCarthy from Mahon who the Audience crying out for more, Anthony Jackson from Blackrock with his rapping, Vicky Murphy from Mahon with Think and what a voice and Jonathan Struthers from Blackrock performing I’m yours. Next week’s heats are in Scott’s Bar on Thursday 4th February and Dean Rock Bar Togher on Saturday 6th of February Tickets on the Door at €10 Doors open 7.15pm.
